Our digital roadmap - the future of care starts now
The digital roadmap for our Norfolk and Waveney University Hospitals Group has just been launched.
The roadmap is our shared ambition for how digital technology will support how we care for our patients and the way we work across NNUH, JPUH and QEH over the coming years - a genuine shift towards more connected, more informed, more digital ways of delivering care.
We've made a film to introduce it. Senior digital colleagues, each leading a part of the programme, talk you through what's coming and what it means for you.

It covers the systems that keep your work running safely, how we use and share data and patient information, the software you use every day to do your job, our new shared Electronic Patient Record, secure staff messaging via Alertive, how AI and automation can support your work and voice technology that will speed up the production of clinical notes.
Whatever your role, there'll be something relevant to you.
The roadmap is launched this month at Digifest, our series of digital health events across the Group which starts today, Monday 8 June, at JPUH and moves to our other hospitals through the month. It's a chance to explore hands-on demonstrations, hear more about the EPR and the digital roadmap, and talk to the people shaping how technology will support care in the future. Digifest is at:
- James Paget - today, Monday 8 June, 10am-3pm, Burrage Centre
- Queen Elizabeth Hospital - Tuesday 9 June, from 12 noon- 4pm, Board Room
- Norfolk and Norwich - Thursday 18 June, 10am-3pm, East Atrium
Some of our suppliers and partners including Imprivata, Meditech Expanse, Miziac (Mediviewer), Sapphire, Solventum Fluency Direct, Huron and more, plus the New Hospital Programme team for QEHKL and JPUH. will be there too.
Share your ideas, ask questions, and take part in competitions, giveaways and wellbeing activities.
We look forward to seeing you there. Find out more at: better joined up care - EPR - What's coming at Digifest?
