Before your EPR training starts, you’ll complete a short basic IT skills check. It’s there to help you get the most out of your EPR sessions, not to catch anyone out.
What the check covers
The check looks at your confidence with the basics, using a keyboard and mouse, logging in, finding your way around a screen, plus tablets and mobile devices where those are relevant to your role.
What happens next
If the check shows you’d benefit from some groundwork first, your line manager will arrange basic IT training before your EPR sessions begin. This isn’t a barrier, it’s there so your EPR training makes sense from the start.
How to access it
Speak to your line manager or the training team.
