There are three ways to be part of the EPR alongside your job. Which one fits depends on the time you have and what you want to do.

The Implementation Support Team

EPR Champions and Super Users together make up the Implementation Support Team. They are the people who will support colleagues through testing, training, go-live and the weeks that follow. Both roles are nominated by line managers, and both come with protected time. You stay in your substantive job. The support work is agreed on top of it, and you are released to do it.

EPR Champions
Support an agreed specialty, care group or division through testing, training and go-live. Champions take escalations from Super Users, mentor them, and feed what they are seeing back to the programme.

EPR Super Users
Be the person colleagues ask when they get stuck. Super Users give practical first-line help in their own area, from go-live onwards.

The EPR Change Network

The Change Network works differently. It is open to anyone who wants to help their team get ready, with no set time commitment and no nomination needed. Members get programme information early, share it with the people they work with, and bring questions and concerns back to us.

Managers

Champions and Super Users are nominated by their line manager, which makes managers central to this. There is a separate page covering what each role asks of your team, how much time to plan for, and how to nominate.

EPR Champions

If you want to get more involved in EPR by helping to test the system and quality-assure EPR training, you should consider being a champion.

EPR Super Users

If you're a hands on person who is confident with technology and great at supporting others, you'd make a great EPR Super User.

EPR Change Network

Help your colleagues to get ready for EPR and spread the word.
