The date is set

We opened the week by announcing when our hospitals move to the new EPR: the weekend of 22 and 23 May 2027.

“Please put it in your diary,” says Jo. “Everything we do from now on works towards that date.”

The week in numbers

  • 73 sessions, online and in person
  • 1,342 attendances: 516 online and 826 in person
  • 16 online demos and talks covering 12 topics
  • around 6,600 visitors to this website during the week and the days before it

What you told us

Many of you joined the online demos between shifts or during a busy working day. Others came to meet the EPR team in person at your hospital.

“You asked some really insightful questions,” says Jo. “You told us what worries you and what you’re looking forward to. That’s exactly what we needed to hear, and it will shape what happens next.”

Missed a demo?

All the demo recordings are now available on this site. Watch them whenever it suits you.

Jo recommends them even if a demo is outside your area. “They give a real sense of how the EPR will work, regardless of your job. They start to demystify the EPR and make it feel real.”

What happens next

Between now and May, you will see much more of the new system. Training starts in the new year, well before go-live. Keep asking questions and keep telling us what you think.

Thank you to everyone who helped deliver the week, and to every one of you who made time to come along.
